Marketing Insight Analyst

Company in Retail

Oslo

The company has a clear focus on analysis, but is in need of linking all customer touch-points and understanding of customer behaviour to ultimately deliver a stellar customer journey. Questions they constantly ask themselves are; how do we find the customer; how do we contact and interact with the customer; and how do we get them to stay once we have them on-board?

Although they are going to have an increased digital focus and invest in digital channels, they need to find an analyst that can look at the whole spectrum of marketing channels, not only digital. This gives the role complexity, and the person they are looking for should also focus on following up on campaign results and give the teams insights about these to help find the best way forward.

There is great potential in this data driven marketing department, but you need to have the drive to take the department to a new level and to achieve the goal of working data driven internally. Your ideal background from web analytics will help translate analysis into actual optimisation measures the department needs.

The role:

  • Analyse data and generate insight on the entire marketing mix and chain, including off-line and digital campaigns
  • Compile data and draw conclusions based on analysed patterns and trends linked to the entire customer journey (from "first to last click" regardless of media)
  • Work frequently with follow-up of on segmentation, generate reports and analyses from basic data to completed reports
  • Find and source new target segments for marketing and campaign initiatives
  • Work with the development of new hypothesises and drive analysis on them

Background:

  • Preferably 3+ years of experience with CRM, Marketing and Analytics
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of SQL, SPSS, SAS Enterprise Guide / Base
  • Ability to visualise reports in Qlickview, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Worked and communicated with senior stakeholders
